Rivian Certified Collision Center
Family Owned Since 1965
Certified by Rivian and by thirteen other manufacturers. Our technicians work from Rivian's published procedures for your specific model year, not from a general EV playbook.
Factory diagnostic access, ADAS calibration equipment, structural measuring equipment that checks every point against factory specification, and a repair environment built for bonded-and-riveted construction.
A Rivian is not built like the vehicles that came before it. The R1T and R1S ride on a sealed battery platform that carries structural load, a frame used to carry, wrapped in a body that mixes aluminum, ultra-high-strength steel, and composite panels. Repairing one properly starts with knowing which material you are touching before you touch it.
Tony’s Body Shop is a Rivian Certified Collision Center. We provide the training, factory diagnostics, calibration equipment, and direct access to parts that Rivian requires. We’ve run a similar program for Tesla and Lucid owners for years. Your Rivian leaves repaired to the standard it was built to. Not near it.
Factory-authorized parts exclusively for certified facilities
Rivian sells its structural and safety-critical components only to shops inside its certified network. Battery enclosure hardware, structural castings, suspension components, restraint systems. A shop outside that network can order a bumper cover. It cannot order the parts underneath it.
A non-approved facility literally cannot purchase the essential items needed to restore the structural integrity of your vehicle.
Every structural and safety component we install in your Rivian is Genuine OEM. No aftermarket substitutes, no salvage parts in the safety path, no panels that fit closely enough to pass a walk-around.
On a Rivian the distinction carries more weight than usual. Body structure is engineered to fold along specific paths, and what sits behind that structure is a battery pack running the length of the wheelbase. A part that measures right can still absorb energy wrong. That is a risk worth exactly nothing to take.
We pick your Rivian up and bring it back, anywhere in Ventura County. Send us photos to start a photo estimate, or call (805) 485-5514, and we will arrange a collection from wherever the vehicle sits. If insurance is involved, we handle the claim directly with your carrier so you are not the one relaying messages between two companies.
Rivian leans on aluminum across the R1T and R1S to hold weight down and range up, then places ultra-high-strength steel where intrusion protection matters and composite where it makes sense, including the R1T’s structural bed. Three materials, one body, three different sets of rules.
Aluminum does not behave like steel. It work-hardens, it will not take the same heat, and it wants specific heating and pulling techniques rather than the pulls steel tolerates. Where aluminum meets steel the joint is often bonded and riveted instead of welded, and Rivian specifies which fastener and which adhesive. That is not a judgment call for the technician.
Aluminum is highly susceptible to galvanic corrosion. If aluminum panels are exposed to steel dust or debris during the repair process, it can lead to paint failure and structural weakness years down the line.
Rivian’s battery pack is structural, and it sits under the floor across the whole wheelbase, which means high-voltage procedures are part of most real repairs rather than a special case. Our technicians are trained to de-energize the system, verify isolation, work around the pack and drive units, and bring everything back up correctly.
Trained to Rivian's procedures for safe shutdown, isolation verification and re-energizing.
Factory-level access to read the vehicle properly and confirm every system before it leaves.
Tony’s has been repairing Ventura County’s vehicles for decades. Rivian owners in Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo and Port Hueneme bring us R1T trucks and R1S SUVs for everything from a scuffed bumper cover through full structural work. See how our collision repair process runs from first call to delivery, or call (805) 485-5514.
We believe that the repair process should be as convenient as the ownership experience. Our locations in Oxnard and Ventura are designed to be one-stop solutions.
We collect your Rivian and return it, anywhere in Ventura County.
Rivian windshield replacement is handled on-site through our in-house glass center, including the forward camera calibration that the replacement triggers. One appointment, one building.
Alignment and tire work, plus a full in-house mechanic, so suspension changes that shift ADAS geometry get corrected and recalibrated together.
Direct parts access and in-house glass, alignment, and calibration remove the handoffs that stretch these repairs out.
Your Rivian was built to a standard. It should be repaired to the same one. As a Rivian Certified Collision Center we return R1T and R1S vehicles to factory specification using genuine OEM parts and Rivian’s published procedures, with Driver+ calibration documented and a lifetime warranty on the work.
